I decided to show myself in my raw form of when I am going through mental turmoil. This project allowed me to tap back into my love for self portraiture photography. I was allowed to just be with myself, the camera, and the three white walls around me. It was healing to be able to tell so much through a lens with just a look. To just sit with my thoughts and wander around with them in my studio space. I hope to continue to capture my not so pretty emotions and states of mind more in my art going forward.
