The Promising 3 gives me a sense of peace when I look at it. These three women have been a constant in my life, whether that be physically here with me or spiritually. They have provided comfort, care, and something that only a mother’s embrace and presence can offer. This piece is dedicated to my great-grandmother (pictured in the middle), my grandmother (pictured on the left), and my mother (on the right).
